Lexis Academy is a professional service offered by Lexis International LLC, an enterprise that has been founded by Professor Peter Nanopoulos in Silicon Valley, San Jose, California, USA.

Lexis Academy develops and provides Greek Language instruction to English-speaking adult Greek Language Learners of all fluency levels in the classroom and through distance education.

Web-centric media and interactive learning technologies are used to bridge geographical distances between the learner, the instructor, and the learning resources.

We are motivated by the mission to promote the Greek Language and Culture through education in an effort to preserve and reinforce the fundamentals of Western Civilization for all humanity.

We accomplish this mission by enabling each student to build not only communicative skills and fluency competencies but also to develop a life-long pursuit of Hellenic Studies within the larger context of a liberal arts curriculum.

Lexis Academy faculty is composed of native Greek educators who are certified, experienced, and fully committed to ensuring that every student receives effective instruction on building pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar usage, reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills through continuous practice and authentic conversation.

Distance education and online learning or e-Learning involve the use of digital curriculum tools.
